Three ways to count down to the last working day
Choose a private tear-off calendar for yourself, a resignation notice for coworkers, or a farewell card for someone who is leaving. Set the last working date and time to begin. The calendar and notice share your countdown; a coworker's farewell card is saved separately, so it does not replace yours. Settings stay in this browser and return when you reopen the tool.
Calendar export is only a reminder
The .ics download creates a reminder for the target moment, not an official HR record. Treat the countdown as a personal ritual and verify the final workday, timezone, handover date, and company policy before using it as your real schedule.

Where is my countdown data stored?
Your settings are saved in this browser without an account or automatic device sync. Changing browsers or clearing site data means setting up the countdown again. If you share a notice or farewell card, anyone with its link can read the date, names and message included in that link.
Can I sync the countdown across devices?
There is no automatic sync. You can open a notice or farewell card's share link on another device to view the same countdown, including the original timezone. The private tear-off calendar has no share link, and its sealed note is not transferred this way.
Will the countdown be accurate if I share with people in another timezone?
A share link with a valid timezone counts down to the same target moment for everyone. The displayed date and time stay in the original setter's timezone rather than changing to the recipient's. Older links without a timezone are interpreted using the device's local time.
What happens when the countdown reaches zero?
The tear-off calendar turns to its last page with a short celebration, opens the note you sealed for your free day, and offers two next steps—announce it with the resignation marquee or claim a hero retirement certificate.
Can I get a reminder outside of this page?
Yes. While the tear-off calendar is counting down, use Add to calendar to download a single-event .ics file. Import it into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook, then set the reminder there. The tool does not send a notification itself after you close the page.
How do I choose between the calendar, notice and farewell card?
Use the tear-off calendar for your own private countdown and a sealed note to yourself. Use the notice to announce your last working day to coworkers. Use the farewell card to celebrate a coworker's departure: enter their name, and add your message and optional sender name. Their card stays separate from your countdown.
Will my sealed note appear in the link I share?
New links do not include your note to your free day. It stays in your browser and opens in your tear-off calendar at the target time. Links include the notice or card's public message, so check the preview before sharing. Older links may still contain what you shared at the time; creating a new link does not change an old one.
