Each row of the board is one hour and 18:00 is the clock-out line. Tasks fall one by one; fill a row to clear that hour. Every few tasks a memo check or an empty promise pops up, and the boss walks by at random. While an event card is up the board and the clock pause until you answer.
Get a memo right and the bottom row clears; get it wrong and a row of chores pushes up. Block an empty promise and the next task is a two-cell quick task; get talked into it and the next one is urgent. Miss the 3-second screen switch when the boss walks by and tasks fall faster for 20 seconds.
Friday falls slowly with fewer events; Tuesday is standard; Monday falls fast, memos and promises come more often, and all three promise-making managers show up. Start with Friday to get the hang of it.
The memos, managers' lines and companies are all fictional and are not career or HR advice. The game runs in your browser and only keeps your best score for each kind of day and length on this device; nothing is uploaded.

Left/right arrows move, Space (or up) rotates, down drops the task to the bottom, P pauses. Every action has an on-screen button on phones too.
5 or 10 minutes, and you can pause. The clock also stops while an event card is up, so reading a memo never costs you time.
It restarts the exact same tasks with the same memos and promises in the same order. A share link lets friends play that same day too.
They were merged into this game: Workday Blocks became the board, and the memos and empty promises from the other two became event cards. Their old addresses redirect here.
